School for the Better Making of Men

The "School for the Better Making of Men" is an initiative in  Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., District of Illinois. 

The School for the Better Making of Men is a leadership focused endeavor, in which the Fraternity's mission of "Developing Leaders" is put into action. "The School" brings together College Chapter Presidents for a weekend of both fraternal and professional development, engaged discussions, fireside chats, leadership service, and brotherly bonding.  Our goal is to equip our College Chapter Presidents to be the best leaders possible. 

Our first cohort of The School for the Better Making of Men are known as the "Callis Class."  A nod to one of our Founders Jewel Henry Arthur Callis, for his impact on Alpha Illinois, this class is poised  to do great things.
